PS3 Root Key Update: Final Solution Resolving All Hacking Possibilities?

The next ‘logical’ step taken by Sony in order to prevent further invasion by hacking community into their online territory, is by the planning of release for its PS3 root key to keep all the ‘legal’ PS3 consoles owners and players secure once again.

However, not much info being revealed about the security of its new PS3 root key, whether it is hackable or fully secured? However, there are some questions arise from the root key release, whether the new PS3 SKU will ban all current PS3 consoles owners? Or will the new SKU update will only update some sort of firmware that will eliminate the hacking issue?

A new unit of PS3 console that comes with 300GB HDD and has the new SKU update is rumored going for sell at USD300 price level. Questions remain, whether all the existing or earlier version of consoles will be eligible for an exchange or upgrade program? Or, will a firmware update will do all the trick?

Keep your finger cross, let’s just hope Sony would finally find a ‘peace’ resolution with the hacking community.
