BenQ MX711 and MX710 DLP Projectors

BenQ introduces two new DLP projectors, MX711 and MX710, with a resolution of 1024x768 XGA. Both projectors based on DLP technology are IT contrast ratio of 5300:1 offers 16.7 million colors and auto vertical keystone correction + / -40. The MX711 has 3200 ANSI lumens lamp and 230W when the MX710 has 2700 ANSI and a 210W lamp.

The MX710 and MX711 is a 1.3:1 manual zoom. They provide D-sub, HDMI 1.3, S-Video, composite, Ethernet LAN port and a USB type A for USB storage, mini-USB Type B USB display.

Optoma Neo-i Pico Projector with iPhone Dock

Projector maker Optoma is launching the Neo-i, which is probably the first pico projector with integrated iPhone/iPod dock speaker system. The Neo-i docks, plays and charges iPod or iPhone. It features a 16-watt speaker system.

The Optoma Neo-i offers 854×480 resolution with a 16:9 aspect ratio and 50 ANSI lumens brightness. Not only does it projector content on the iPod/iPhone, the device offers HDMI, VGA, A/V inputs for connecting other video sources. It has a backlit control panel and comes with an IR remote control.

The Optoma Neo-i iPhone speaker/pico projector combo will be available in Mid-December for $449.
